More Detail

Over 4 Years Post-Chartership Experience

Hi. I'm Tatiana Ryklina. I'm a registered and chartered counselling psychologist - I assist individuals and couples with their emotional wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counselling psychologist.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment enables you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment appointment in Borough, London or Shoreditch, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine which issue concerning your early years or adulthood you explore. An aim of counselling is to enable you to talk about a difficulty and discover a way forward which is right for you.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapies to fit your needs and the issues you encounter. It considers your subjective experiences and choices. An aim of integrative therapy is to help you advance your self-awareness.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy centres on the unconscious causes of the problems you experience. It facilitates you in becoming aware of aspects of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy aims to enhance your self-understanding to give you options.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends psychodynamic therapy for depression, self harm and substance dependence.

Psychology is interested in you and your thoughts, emotions and actions. It offers you psychological treatments and mental health support. An objective of psychological therapies is to help you ease symptoms.

Psychosexual Therapy

Psychosexual therapy concentrates on treating the sexual difficulties you experience. When appropriate, you undertake treatment tasks privately in your home. Psychosexual therapy seeks to help you alleviate sexual problems.

Relational Therapy

Relational therapy concentrates on how you communicate with others. It facilitates your openness about the problems you encounter. The objective of relational therapy is to help you recognise beneficial ways of communicating.

Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

SFT focuses on finding solutions to the problems you encounter. It examines what assists you, and what actions you could make to implement change. The intention of SFT is to help you recognise and utilise your personal resources.
