More Detail

7+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I am Tamar. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals with their emotional health. I hold private, public and voluntary sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest includes bereavement, depression and relationship problems, as well as the specific issues faced by business, heterosexual and mixed ethnic background men and women.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment session helps you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Queen's Park, London or Marylebone, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine what issue regarding your early years or adult life you discuss. The aim of counselling is to enable you to talk about a problem and discover a way forward that is right for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy selects therapeutic approaches to fit your needs and the problems you experience. It explores your personal experience and choices. An aim of integrative therapy is to help you develop your self-understanding.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your thoughts, feelings and significant moments in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover appropriate methods of coping.
