What to Expect

An initial assessment appointment helps you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and decide if therapy may benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an initial assessment appointment in Westminster, London, Marylebone, London or St. Pauls, London.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on how your thoughts (cognitions) influence your feelings and actions. It recognises and addresses negative thoughts that maintain the issues you experience. The objective of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to experience healthier thoughts and feelings.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) suggests CBT for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) (ME), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), panic disorder and social anxiety disorder.

Psychology is interested in you and your mind, feelings and actions. It offers you psychological interventions and mental wellbeing support. The intention of psychological therapy is to help you alleviate symptoms.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your ideas, feelings and relevant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find suitable methods of coping.
