Over 10 Years Post-Chartership Experience

Hello. I'm Natalie Chambers. I'm a chartered and registered counselling psychologist - I support individuals with their psychological health. I hold private sector experience as a counselling psychologist.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment meeting allows you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy may help you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment appointment in Borough, London.

Client Centred Therapy

Client centred therapy concentrates on understanding and supporting you. It facilitates your openness about the concerns you encounter. Client centred therapy aims to help you discover your own solutions.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on how your thoughts (cognitions) affect your emotions and behaviour. It identifies and challenges unhelpful thoughts that perpetuate the issues you experience. The aim of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to have healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends cognitive behavioural therapy for anorexia nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder (BED), bulimia nervosa, depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine what issue concerning your childhood or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and discover a solution which is right for you.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy selects therapeutic approaches to suit your needs and the issues you experience. It considers your personal experiences and choices. An aim of integrative therapy is to help you advance your self-awareness.

Psychology

Psychology is interested in you and your thoughts, emotions and actions. It offers you psychological interventions and mental health support. The objective of psychological therapies is to help you ease symptoms.
