8+ Years Post-Chartership Experience

Welcome. I'm Cristina. I'm a chartered and registered health psychologist and a registered psychotherapist - I support individuals with their psychological wellbeing. I hold private and public sector experience as a health psychologist and a psychotherapist. My interest includes abuse and stress, as well as the particular challenges encountered by men and women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment session enables you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and assess if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment session in Frome or Farringdon, London.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive behavioural therapy concentrates on how your thoughts influence your emotions and actions. It recognises and addresses unhelpful thoughts which maintain the problems you encounter. The aim of CBT is for you to experience healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates CBT for alcohol dependence, anorexia nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder (BED), bipolar disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), bulimia nervosa, depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), self harm and social anxiety disorder.

Jungian Analysis

Jungian analysis analyses your dreams and your unconscious. It acknowledges your uniqueness. Jungian analysis aims to help you enhance your self-knowledge.

Psychology
