Over 8 Years Post-Chartership Experience

Hello. I'm Caroline. I'm an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) psychotherapist and a chartered and registered clinical psychologist - I support individuals with their emotional health. I hold private sector experience as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) psychotherapist and a clinical psychologist.

What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment allows you to discover if you are comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange a preliminary assessment meeting in Battersea, London or Sheffield.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT concentrates on how your thoughts affect your feelings and actions. It recognises and addresses negative ideas that maintain the problems you encounter. The aim of cognitive behavioural therapy is for you to have healthier thoughts and emotions.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates cognitive behavioural therapy for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) (ME), depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia and self harm.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy focuses on appreciating you. It sees you as a whole person and prioritises your unique growth. Humanistic therapy seeks to help you recognise your autonomy.

Integrative Therapy

Integrative therapy combines therapeutic approaches to fit your preferences and the problems you encounter. It considers your personal experiences and options. The aim of integrative therapy is to help you advance your self-understanding.

Psychology

Psychology is interested in you and your mind, emotions and actions. It offers you psychological interventions and mental wellbeing support. The objective of psychological therapy is to help you ease symptoms.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you confront. It considers your ideas, emotions and relevant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or discover appropriate methods of managing.

Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

SFT focuses on finding solutions to the problems you experience. It explores what assists you, and what steps you could make to effect change. The purpose of solution focused therapy is to help you know and utilise your personal resources.
