Over 16 Years Post-Chartership Experience

Welcome. I am Rosemary. I'm a chartered and registered counselling psychologist and a registered psychotherapist - I assist individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counselling psychologist and a psychotherapist.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment session allows you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what worries you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Ealing, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter regarding your early years and/or adult life you discuss. The objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a difficulty and find a way forward that is appropriate for you.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy concentrates on the unconscious causes of the problems you encounter. It fosters your consciousness of some of your unconscious. An aim of psychoanalytic therapy is for you to gain personal insight and utilise it if you wish to.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on the unconscious meaning of the problems you experience. It facilitates you in becoming conscious of aspects of your inner dynamics. Psychodynamic therapy seeks to increase your self-understanding to give you choices.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates psychodynamic therapy for anorexia nervosa, depression and social anxiety disorder.

Psychology

Psychology is interested in you and your thoughts, feelings and actions. It offers you psychological interventions and mental wellbeing support. The intention of psychological therapy is to help you ease symptoms.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the problems you confront. It explores your ideas, feelings and relevant events in your history. Psychotherapy intends to help you change or discover suitable ways of coping.

Relational Therapy

Relational therapy concentrates on how you relate with people. It facilitates your honesty about the issues you encounter. An objective of relational therapy is to help you recognise healthy ways of relating.
