More Detail

Over 10 Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I am Cindy Collick. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus involves bereavement, self esteem and stress, as well as the particular difficulties faced by women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment session helps you to see if you feel comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, clarify confidentiality, and determine if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment appointment in Edgware.

Client Centred Therapy

Client centred therapy concentrates on understanding and supporting you. It encourages your openness about the worries you experience. Client centred therapy seeks to help you find your own solutions.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You decide what matter concerning your childhood and/or adult life you explore. The objective of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and discover a solution that is appropriate for you.

Humanistic Therapy

Humanistic therapy centres on valuing you. It considers you as a whole person and emphasises your unique development. Humanistic therapy aims to help you recognise your autonomy.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the difficulties you confront. It considers your ideas, emotions and relevant events in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover suitable ways of managing.
