More Detail

Over 12 Years Post-Registration Experience

Hi. I'm Bob Smith. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I support individuals and couples with their mental wellbeing. I have private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My focus involves abuse, and the particular issues faced by women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment meeting helps you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and determine if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange a preliminary assessment meeting in Sandwell, Oldbury or Shrewsbury.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which issue concerning your early years or adulthood you discuss. An objective of counselling is to help you to speak about a problem and find a solution which is appropriate for you.

Gestalt Therapy

Gestalt therapy contemplates the entire you. It focuses on what it is to be you in the present. The intention of gestalt therapy is to help you elevate your perception.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your thoughts, emotions and significant moments in your life. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or discover suitable methods of coping.
