What to Expect

A preliminary assessment appointment helps you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what concerns you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy could benefit you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an introductory assessment session in Ilford.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and supporting you. You determine which matter regarding your childhood or adulthood you discuss. The objective of counselling is to enable you to talk about a problem and find a way forward that is right for you.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic therapy concentrates on the unconscious meaning of the problems you experience. It facilitates your consciousness of some of your unconscious. An aim of psychoanalytic therapy is for you to gain personal insight and utilise it if you wish to.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you confront. It considers your thoughts, emotions and significant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you develop or find appropriate ways of managing.
