More Detail

7+ Years Post-Chartership Experience

Welcome. I'm Ashley Horsley. I'm a chartered psychologist - I help individuals and couples with their psychological health. I have private sector experience as a psychologist. My focus involves depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and relationship problems, as well as the particular challenges experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment meeting allows you to see if you are comfortable with me, discuss what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and assess if therapy may assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to arrange an initial assessment meeting in Brondesbury Park, London, East Dulwich, London or Borough, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide which matter regarding your early years and/or adulthood you discuss. An objective of counselling is to help you to talk about a difficulty and discover a way forward that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy investigates how you comprehend your life. It involves reflection on your perspectives, capacities and choices. Existential therapy seeks to help you discover meaning in your existence and the issues you encounter.

Psychology is interested in you and your thoughts, emotions and behaviour. It offers you psychological treatments and mental wellbeing support. An objective of psychological therapy is to help you ease symptoms.
