7+ Years Post-Registration Experience

Welcome. I'm Ann Marie. I'm a registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I assist individuals with their emotional wellbeing. I hold private sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest involves depression, and the particular challenges faced by women.

What to Expect

An introductory assessment appointment enables you to discover if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could help you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment meeting in Deal or Maida Vale, London.

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what matter concerning your childhood or adulthood you explore. An aim of counselling is to enable you to speak about a problem and find a way forward which is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you gaining insight into the difficulties you face. It explores your ideas, feelings and significant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find appropriate methods of managing.

Transpersonal Therapy

Transpersonal therapy considers your intellect, body and spirit. It views the issues you encounter as ways for you to transform. Transpersonal therapy aims to help you acknowledge your human potential.
