More Detail

11+ Years Post-Accreditation Experience

Hello. I am Angela. I'm an accredited and registered counsellor and psychotherapist - I help individuals and couples with their emotional health. I hold private and public sector experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist. My interest involves depression, relationship problems and stress, and the particular obstacles experienced by men and women.

What to Expect

An initial assessment appointment enables you to see if you feel comfortable with me, share what troubles you, ask questions, understand confidentiality, and decide if therapy could assist you. Please use a contact option on the right to book an introductory assessment session in West End, London or Barnes, London.

Counselling

Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You determine which issue concerning your childhood or adulthood you explore. The aim of counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and find a way forward that is appropriate for you.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) recommends counselling for depression.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy investigates how you perceive your life. It involves deliberation on your perspectives, capacities and options. Existential therapy seeks to help you find significance in your life and the issues you encounter.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the problems you face. It considers your thoughts, emotions and significant moments in your life. Psychotherapy intends to help you change or find suitable ways of managing.

Easy to talk toHelpfulnessValue for Money

"Angela is easy to talk to, empathic, perceptive and kind. She helped me look at the various stories I had told myself about my life and question whether they still held true; eventually I was able to leave behind those that no longer fitted and live my life in a more authentic, more fulfilling and less rigid way. I have recommended her to others who are looking for a therapist and have no hesitation in endorsing her."
