Clinical Experience in Psychotherapy

I am a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist. My private Psychotherapy practice is in Hackney, London. I also practise in New Cross, London.

I have been a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist since July 1998 so I have more than 14 years and 10 months of post-qualification experience of working with clients. I work with Individuals and Couples. I'm experienced in working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular challenges they encounter.

What to Expect during Psychotherapy

After an initial appointment in Hackney, London, there is no need to continue if you decide not to. We will use the time to explore the particular concerns for which you seek Psychotherapy. I will address any questions you may have. You and I will then be able to decide if my Psychotherapy practice is right for you.

As a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist, I am trained and experienced in using Existential Therapy, Person Centred Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy to work with people to improve their wellbeing.

Psychoanalytic Therapy

Psychoanalytic Therapy aims to bring unconscious thoughts and feeling into consciousness, in order to understand how the past affects the present and use this knowledge to change unhelpful patterns of behaviour in relationships. Generally 12 to 50 sessions: depends on issue and other factors.
