What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy
After a preliminary meeting in Wimborne Minster, Wimborne, there is no obligation to continue if you do not wish to. We may take the opportunity to explore the particular challenges for which you are considering Counselling or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is right for you.The aim of my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment, develop your knowledge of causes of concerns so you discover what to change or accept and work towards ending therapy when it is right for you. To get the most from Counselling and Psychotherapy you will need to be able to speak openly with me and reflect.
