Clinical Experience in Counselling

I am an Accredited Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I run a private counselling practice in Swindon and Tetbury. I am an experienced counsellor having worked with clients since 1997. I have worked in various organisations as a counsellor, trainer and group facilitator including the NHS and Cruse Bereavement Care.

What to Expect during Counselling

I believe we all strive toward health and well being if provided with the right environment. As a person centred counsellor I offer the counselling relationship as an opportunity for you to flourish and grow.

You will be listened to in a safe and confidential therapeutic space. You will be helped to explore and understand situations, thoughts, feelings or behaviours that you are dealing with.

You will benefit from the variety of techniques and disciplines, that I have integrated into my counselling practice, that are best suited to your needs.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling

- British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited Counsellor
- Diploma in Integrative Counselling (Humanistic and Psychoanalytic)

I am a qualified bereavement counsellor and trainer. I have a postgraduate certificate in mental health and have completed a year long training to work with couples.

I have also done numerous shorter courses including working with young people, refugees, working with difference, drugs and alcohol, spiritual matters, solution focused counselling, cognitive behavioural counselling and supervision.
