Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychology

I am a Chartered Psychologist registered with the BPS (British Psychological Society) and HPC (Health Professions Council). I have worked in the Counselling Psychology sector in London since 2002. Currently, I work at the Priory Hospital and in private practice in Paddington and Mayfair, Central London. My special interests and areas of expertise include relational difficulties, addictive behaviours, anxiety disorders, depression and trauma.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychology

My Counselling Psychology service is confidential and I adhere to strict professional codes of conduct stipulated by The British Psychological Society. My clinical experience includes working in diverse settings with people from a variety of cultural and ethical backgrounds. I provide a friendly and relaxed environment whilst delivering an efficient psychological service.

I practice within an integrative framework using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person Centred and Solution Focused Therapy for the treatment of psychological and adjustment disorders.

In the first session I provide information on how I work and answer any questions you have. You can explain what has led you to seek psychological support and we will develop a shared understanding of your difficulties. Once this is established we will work on psychological strategies to help you manage and overcome your difficulties.
