Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist. I have experience in both short term, solution focused therapy and long term psychotherapy. I have worked in various organisations offering both short term and open ended psychotherapy. I have worked in the voluntary sector as well as having my own private counselling and psychotherapy practice. I offer a safe, secure space for clients to examine their issues and discover ways of moving forward with their lives.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

I work with people to help them resolve past issues, face current dilemmas and move forward in their lives healing old wounds and opening up new opportunities. I help my clients look at triggers and patterns of behaviour in their lives and look at ways they can recognise these triggers and change their patterns. I encourage my clients to get in touch with their feelings and look at what they want to achieve in their lives. I help them evaluate what is stopping them from reaching their goals and develop strategies for overcoming obstacles. I work with clients on letting go of old behaviours and taking steps towards their goals.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling and Psychotherapy
