Clinical Experience in Psychotherapy

I am a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist. I have a lot of experience working with men and male identity issues, how to manage aggression, anger, power and sexual urges. I help men heal their relationships with their father and other men. I am experienced helping people out of sexual addiction, working through homosexual and bisexual issues, and finding peace and balance in relationships. I have worked with a broad range of behaviours on the sexual spectrum and offer an open and non-judgmental approach to clients. I have helped women overcome physical and sexual abuse and regain a sense of safety with men. I am trained in resolving shock, and am skilled at helping people resource themselves and process and release patterns of trauma. I have helped many people with tinnitus, dizziness and anxiety and have helped relieve stress symptoms, body aches and pains and sleeping difficulties. I belong to the Spiritual Crisis network and have helped people through extreme experiences of awakening and shifts in awareness. I also help guide people out of spiritual bypass back into a more centered approach to life. I have worked with the consequences of Religious pressure and sects. As a Buddhist Psychotherapist, I work with non-dual awareness, presence, mindfulness of the body, meditative or contemplative states of awareness. I have helped resolve challenging issues resulting from retreats, and difficult relationships with spiritual teachers. I help men and women come out of the oedipal trap and separate from overwhelming parental patterns. I have helped clients integrate their shadow and allow the darker sides of human nature to be met and accepted, helping to heal the good and bad split and regain a deeper sense of authenticity.

What to Expect during Psychotherapy

My practice is very body-based and grounding and will help you find your centre. You arrive and bring your issues. I will help you focus and get in touch with what really matters, so that you can release and let go. I help clients get to the core of the issues rather than circling in analysis.

I help clients discover their own innate health and presence within. Core Process Psychotherapy is a Buddhist-based approach working with mindfulness of the body, mind and energy system, helping uncover, release and let go of deeply entrenched patterns that may go back to one's early beginnings.

My work suits people who are committed to working on themselves and who want to let go. My practice attracts those who are not afraid to meet their edges and work through them.

This is transformational and challenging work which will help you meet yourself more deeply and help develop awareness that goes beyond the self into the transpersonal realm, if there is an intention and capacity to do so.

At times clients may wish to just sit and notice what is happening in the field of awareness. Sometimes there may be plenty of space to let things emerge in their own time.

I bring a lot of clarity and sensitivity to the work.
