What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy
I work in a holistic and integrative way, using techniques from all the major strands of psychotherapy. I use a psychoanalytic approach to uncover how past experiences may impact on the present, and a Jungian approach to archetypes, dreams and creative visualisations to enquire into the true nature of the Self. My approach to clients is warm, supportive, non-directive and non-judgemental, and I feel particularly in tune with clients with a creative and or spiritual disposition.Clinical Qualifications in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am also a creative writing lecturer, and run workshops in "The Hero's Journey" in which clients have the opportunity to examine the journey of their lives so far, and to uncover the mythological dimensions of their life stories. These workshops support both people who want to write fiction and those who are just interested in writing the myth of their own lives.
