Couples: first session set at £42.50, subsequent appointments between £35.00 and £50.00 - 50 minutes.
Families: first session set at £42.50, subsequent appointments between £35.00 and £50.00 - 50 minutes.
Groups: first session set at £45.00, subsequent appointments between £40.00 and £50.00 - 90 minutes.

Clinical Experience in Counselling

I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor. My private Counselling consulting room is situated in Edgware.

I have been a BACP Accredited Counsellor since February 2008 (Registered since December 2012) so I have more than 5 years and 3 months of post-accreditation experience of working with clients. I work with Individuals, Couples, Families and Groups.

What to Expect during Counselling

I use the Psychodynamic Approach in counselling to help clients gain insight and understanding by linking their past with the present. By exploring their thoughts and feelings it helps them to gain insights and be able to move forward and cope better in their lives.

I also use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). If a person changes the way they think, less negatively and more positively it can change their moods and they can become happier. CBT also provides coping strategies and is considered one of the most effective forms of treatment by NICE.
