What to Expect during Psychotherapy
At an initial assessment in Ealing, London, there is no obligation to continue if you decide not to. You and I will use the safe space to clarify the personal challenges for which you require Psychotherapy. I will address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to establish if my Psychotherapy practice is right for you.The aim of my Psychotherapy practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment, develop your insight of your thoughts and how they may increase or decrease your symptoms and develop your knowledge of causes of concerns so you discover what to change or accept. To get the most from Psychotherapy you will need to be able to be open to change and participate.
As a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist, I am highly trained and experienced in using Humanistic and Integrative Therapy to assist people to live more fully.
Humanistic and Integrative Therapy
I respect you as a unique person. I have my own frame of reference to make sense of you, and it has to enable me to help you. If not, I have to modify it. In other words, clinical and theoretical always needs to be in dialogue in me. Generally 6 to 40 sessions: depends on issue and other factors.
