Clinical Experience in Psychotherapy

I have practiced as a Psychotherapist since 1989 with both individuals and couples. I worked for the North West London NHS Trust from 1997 to 1999. I now work privately in both London (St John's Wood) and West Berkshire. I offer a Brief Solution Focused Therapy approach as well as Neuro Linguistic programming (NLP) Therapy. I am also the Founder of Reverse Therapy - an approach which relieves both stress-related illness and emotional problems. I specialise in Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Panic Attacks, Trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Addictions, Relationship issues, and Coaching.

What to Expect during Psychotherapy

Working with me you will:
- Change the patterns of thought and behaviour that keep you stuck
- Identify your strengths and past successes in dealing with similar troubles
- Work with your personal emotional intelligence to improve emotional honesty
- Channel your thoughts in new, and positive, directions
- Learn how to forgive and live in the present
- Use the Reverse Process (for addictions and compulsions)
- Practice Assertiveness, how to speak up plainly and honestly to the people who matter
- Learn specialist techniques to switch off from troubling memories

I also offer:
- Immense experience without an immense price
- Short-term, focused, goal-driven help (averages no more than six sessions for most problems)
- Empathetic consultations with warmth and humour
- Practical, down-to-earth, common-sense advice
- Fast, economical, effective techniques

Clinical Qualifications in Psychotherapy

  • UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Neuro Linguistic Psychotherapist since 1993
