Additional Information
My Doctoral Research concerned the similarities and differences of 'madness' and 'spiritual experience'. A life or spiritual crisis may often lead to a mental health diagnosis such as depression or anxiety or something more serious. Medication may help. However, consideration of contributory factors, understanding, a good therapeutic relationship and using emotional tools rather than tablets are likely to be more effective over the longer term.
