Individuals: first session set at £75.00, subsequent appointments between £60.00 and £90.00 - 50 minutes.
Couples: first session set at £82.50, subsequent appointments between £65.00 and £100.00 - 50 minutes.
Families: first session set at £115.00, subsequent appointments between £80.00 and £150.00 - 50 minutes.

Welcome. My name is Deborah Franks. I am a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol) Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist. I help people to address the causes of problems, reduce symptoms, and live more fully. My private Counselling and Psychology practice is based in Mapperley, Nottingham.

A Counselling Psychologist since September 2005, I have 7 years of experience in Counselling and Psychology. I work with Individuals, Couples and Families. I am highly experienced in providing Counselling and Psychology to people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular challenges they face. My specialist knowledge is about Trauma.

In addition to being a Counselling Psychologist in private practice in Mapperley, Nottingham, I have experience as a GP Surgery Counselling Psychologist.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychology

After an initial assessment in Mapperley, Nottingham, there is no obligation to continue if you do not wish to. As Client and Therapist, we may use the safe space to assess the personal or professional challenges for which you are considering Counselling or Psychology. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. We can see how well we work together. You and I will then be able to determine if my Counselling and Psychology practice is appropriate for you.

The aim of my Counselling and Psychology practice is to tailor therapy to you and your needs. To get the most from Counselling and Psychology you will need to be able to be open to change.
