Clinical Experience in Counselling

I am an experienced, professionally qualified, and registered Psychodynamic Counsellor, based in South London, providing counselling with individual clients on either a short term or ongoing basis.

What to Expect during Counselling

I offer a Psychodynamic approach to counselling which looks at how past experiences may shape and influence our thinking in the present. People come into counselling with a wide range of personal, emotional and relationship difficulties. A Psychodynamic Counsellor will work with you - towards creating a better understanding of the problems you face in your life.

Although being a counsellor encourages me to see life and its difficulties from a certain counselling perspective - my experience, working both privately and in the NHS, has taught me the value of approaching each client as a unique individual, rather than simply as a text book model.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling

I trained at the WPF Counselling and Psychotherapy Institute in London, recognised as one of the leading training organisations in the UK. I graduated with an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychodynamic Studies. My training in counselling and my Professional Membership of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) ensure a strict Code of Ethics and the highest standards of confidentiality.

My counselling consulting room is situated in a quiet street nearby to Streatham Common in South London. Free parking is available and it is conveniently placed for public transport.
