Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy

My clinical experience includes working with women from abusive and violent backgrounds, teenagers and cross-cultural counselling. I have acquired telephone counselling skills while volunteering for a Crisis Helpline over the course of a year. For a number of years, I have been working in private practice in Golders Green, North-West London, and for Lacap - a counselling agency based near Liverpool Street Station. I work with adult individuals (18+), who experience a range of difficulties - from depression, bereavement, low self-esteem and anxiety to relationship issues.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

My theoretical orientation is integrative - I integrate the psychodynamic and humanistic approaches to counselling and psychotherapy.

Depending on the individual client and session, I use the most appropriate and helpful orientation to facilitate the clients' progress.

I believe in providing a safe, confidential and supportive space for the clients to explore their issues and through increased self-awareness find their own way to a more balanced and healthy life.
