Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy
I offer short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy from comfortable rooms in Battersea, just a short walk from Clapham Junction mainline station. I have over five years of general experience in delivering therapy; I spent three years working in bereavement, so I have a special interest in loss and the many ways that it can manifest itself in your life, and I have also worked specifically with disability (particularly MS) for Merton Mind.
What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy
It is often said that 'the relationship is the therapy' and my work is underpinned by this. I aim to create a healing space in which my clients may express difficult feelings safely and without fear of judgement.I work collaboratively and I believe firmly in the value of self-empowerment: I aim to facilitate so that you may begin to realise your true potential. I believe that one of the roles of therapy is to help restore the parts of you that have been lost and to allow you to recover spontaneity.
