Clinical Experience in Psychology

My treatment methods include one to one Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). Sessions are pre-agreed with the client. Clients are given (agreed) 'sessionwork' - this includes goals and personal development work which helps move the client away from the problem(s) he or she is experiencing. A review of therapy will take place. If appropriate, I will direct clients to helpful texts, books or online support services.

What to Expect during Psychology

I use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). CBT involves identifying thoughts and feelings that are unsuccessful for the client. Through behaviour change (incremental), I help clients move away from problems by changing targeted behaviours.

I use Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT). The client and I identify issues from the clients past and present that are causing them distress or unhappiness.

Additional Information

I provide specialist knowledge and services on all aspects of stress, and stress resolution. My services include work with civil and criminal court proceedings, and I provide Witness Services. In addition to this, I work with schools and families on helping children with a variety of problems.

Please note: for telephone appointments taking place after 6pm on weekdays and at any time during weekends, there is an additional charge of £5.00 per session.

I am based in Salisbury, SP3.
