Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am a United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist which means that I work under a strict code of ethics and confidentiality. I have worked with a wide range of clients in counselling centres and with GP referrals. I have helped clients with both personal and relationship problems to understand their thoughts and feelings and enable them to discover their own resources. My work in counselling and psychotherapy revolves around resolving inner conflicts and to overcome past and present emotional difficulties.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am an integrative psychotherapist and Counsellor which means that I integrate different psychotherapy techniques such as humanistic and psychodynamic to cater for individuals' needs. With this approach I look at the person as a whole with their thoughts, actions, feelings and physical symptoms as one.

I will meet with you on a one to one basis and assess how best to work together to understand and resolve your difficulties, conflicts, behaviour patterns, relationships and how to enable you to lead a more meaningful life.

My sessions provide a space for talking and listening confidentially thereby allowing you to explore your feelings, thoughts and experiences in a safe environment.

My aim is to create a place in which you feel free to talk about your issues and to feel accepted and not judged. Together we would explore your difficulties and try to understand and be aware of behaviour patterns that may be hampering you from moving forward in life.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I trained at Regents College School of Psychotherapy and Counselling. I have both a Post Graduate Diploma as well as an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

I also assess GP referrals at the Highgate Centre.
