I have twenty years experience working as a psychotherapist and counsellor in Hove, East Sussex.
I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited Counsellor and Psychtherapist, and a Member of the Institute of Transactional Analysis (ITA).
I work with a very wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, phobias, relationships, bereavement, pregnancy and post natal depression. I see individuals, couples or families. I have a Gay Affirmative perspective.
What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy
I use an integrative approach in order to offer you, the client:- Safety, support and protection whilst you may be exploring or revealing difficult thoughts, experiences and feelings.
- A space for you to express yourself freely in absolute confidence, knowing that you are accepted without judgement.
- Support and understanding in making sense of your past and your feelings whether they be childhood related or the result of a recent trauma or current situation.
- Tools and insights to enable you to make new decisions.
We will be working together to help you resolve some of life's difficulties and to make sense of who you are.
