Welcome. My name is Richard Cruz. I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) Counsellor. I help people to address the causes of problems, reduce symptoms, and live more fully. My private Counselling practice is located in Oxford Circus, London.
A Counsellor since June 2006, I have 5 years of experience in Counselling. I work with Individuals and Couples. I am highly experienced in providing Counselling to people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular difficulties they face. My specialist experience is in Sexual Dysfunctions.
In addition to being a Counsellor in private practice in Oxford Circus, London, I have experience as a NHS Hospital Counsellor.

What to Expect during Counselling
At an initial consultation in Oxford Circus, London, there is no obligation to proceed if you do not wish to. We may use the time to explore the current concerns for which you seek Counselling. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling practice is right for you.The aim of my Counselling practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment. To get the most from Counselling you will need to be able to work collaboratively.
As a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) Counsellor, I am trained and experienced in using Integrative Therapy to help people to address life problems.
Integrative Therapy
Integrative Therapy is a seamless integration of the use of many therapeutic approaches that have their origins in psychodynamic and humanistic theories. A key aspect for successful therapy is placed on the quality of the therapeutic relationship between Client and Counsellor. Generally 1 to 6 sessions: depends on issue and other factors.
