Welcome. My name is Richard Cruz. I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor and a College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) Accredited Psychosexual Therapist. I help people to address the causes of problems, reduce symptoms, and live more fully. My private Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is located in Oxford Circus, London. I also practise in Worcester Park.
I have been a BACP Accredited Counsellor since March 2008 (Registered since June 2006) and a COSRT Accredited Psychosexual Therapist since February 2013, so I have more than 7 years of post-registration experience of working with clients. I am highly experienced in providing Counselling and Psychotherapy to men and people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular difficulties they face.
In addition to being a Counsellor and a Psychosexual Therapist in private practice in Oxford Circus, London, I have experience as a Charity, College, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Counsellor and Psychosexual Therapist.

After an initial consultation in Oxford Circus, London, there is no obligation to proceed if you do not wish to. We may use the time to explore the current concerns for which you seek Counselling or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is right for you.The aim of my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment. To get the most from Counselling and Psychotherapy you will need to be able to work collaboratively.
As a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor and College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists (COSRT) Accredited Psychosexual Therapist, I am trained and experienced in using Couple Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Psychosexual Therapy, Relational Therapy and Sexual and Relationship Therapy to help people to address life problems.
Integrative Therapy
Integrative Therapy is a seamless integration of the use of many therapeutic approaches that have their origins in psychodynamic and humanistic theories. A key aspect for successful therapy is placed on the quality of the therapeutic relationship between Client and Counsellor. Generally 1 to 6 sessions: depends on issue and other factors.
