Clinical Experience in Counselling, Psychology, Psychotherapy

I am a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Psychologist and a trainee in Transactional Analysis (TA) with a psychotherapy speciality. I live and work in Brighton.

The issues I work with include anxiety disorders, depression, stress, and eating disorders. I have a Gay Affirmative perspective.

How I Work

The theoretical framework that I use is Transactional Analysis (TA). This is a theory and therapy that was developed by Dr Eric Berne in the 1960’s. It enables the therapist to build a picture of the client and their psychological makeup and how the life patterns and strategies that we use originate in childhood. These patterns and strategies are often replayed in our adult lives even though they are frequently painful and self defeating. Clients come to see me with a wide range of issues which include anxiety, depression, stress and eating disorders. I help them to navigate their way through life’s often painful and puzzling journey.

Clinical Training in Counselling, Psychology, Psychotherapy

I am a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the institute of Transactional Analysis (ITA) and the International Transactional Analysis Association (ITAA)
