Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I have been in private practice for the past decade working with a wide variety of clients and issues. I specialise in short-term as well as long-term work and will also add mentoring and coaching to the mix, where it is helpful. Besides the specific issues listed above, I often work with clients as they negotiate difficult life transitions and developmental stages. I have worked extensively with business people, overseas executives and people in the arts and media.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

My approach to therapy is based on classic psychotherapeutic principles, while also being practical and pragmatic. So I will look for the deeper, more hidden reasons for a problem while at the same time helping a client find useful techniques to manage it. The idea is to make sense of problematic thoughts and feelings, to understand why negative patterns are being repeated but also to have some practical tools to apply almost from the outset.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I trained at Regent's College and WPF Counselling and Psychotherapy, both in London. In addition I obtained qualifications in brief, time-limited therapy and in executive mentoring and life coaching.
