Welcome. My name is Martin Milton. I am a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol) Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) with a Specialism in Psychotherapy, Health Professions Council (HPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist and UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist. My private Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy practice is located in East Sheen, London.

A Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist since April 1994, I have 17 years of experience in Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy. I work with Individuals and Couples. I'm experienced in working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and assisting with the particular difficulties they encounter. I have academic and clinical research experience in Personality Difficulties, Same Sex Relationships and Sexuality.

As well as being a Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist in private practice in East Sheen, London, I have experience as a GP Surgery, NHS Hospital and NHS Primary Care Team (PCT) Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist.

What to Expect during Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy

At an initial appointment in East Sheen, London, there is no need to continue if you prefer not to. As Client and Therapist, we may take the opportunity to consider the specific concerns for which you are considering Counselling, Psychology or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy practice is right for you.

The aim of my Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy practice is to develop your knowledge of causes of concerns so you discover what to change or accept and tailor therapy to you and your needs.

As a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol) Associate Fellow (AFBPsS) with a Specialism in Psychotherapy, Health Professions Council (HPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist and UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapist, I am highly trained and experienced in using Existential Therapy, Integrative Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy to work with people to improve their wellbeing.
