Clinical Experience in Counselling
I provide face to face counselling to clients on an open ended basis, reviewed after every six sessions.
What to Expect during Counselling
I work from an Integrative perspective. I believe that every person is unique and has the potential to succeed in all aspects of life. Sometimes the potential for growth, effectiveness and wellbeing gets lost, due to life experiences. Life changes, depression, stress, sexual abuse, eating disorders, grief and loss, anxiety, etc., can have a seemingly devastating effect. Counselling will help you through this, and get you back on track, empowering you so that you can live a fulfilled authentic life.Clinical Qualifications in Counselling
I am a Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I abide by their Ethical Framework. I have a Diploma in Counselling. I have also attended a workshop on Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Dissociation. I continue my personal path of learning by attending various Continuous Professional Development courses.
Additional Information
With the current economic climate of redundancies and unemployment, people find themselves in some of the most difficult situations. Unemployment can have a traumatic effect on individuals and their families. The lives of some people can be turned upside down overnight, leaving them with feelings of low self esteem and a lack of confidence. Counselling can help them take control of their lives and get back on track.
