Hello. My name is Niki Costas Tanto. I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I assist people to define problems and help them explore what to do next. My private Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is in Richmond. I also practise in Twickenham and Waterloo, London.

I have been a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist since April 2011 (Registered since April 2011) so I have over 2 years and 1 month of post-accreditation experience of working with clients. I work with Individuals and Couples. I'm experienced in working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and assisting with the particular difficulties they face.

As well as being a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in private practice in Richmond, I have experience as a Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

After an initial assessment in Richmond, there is no obligation to continue if you decide not to. As Client and Therapist, we may use the time to explore the life challenges for which you are considering Counselling or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. We can see how well we work together. You and I will then be able to assess if my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is right for you.

The aim of my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is to tailor therapy to you and your needs. To get the most from Counselling and Psychotherapy you will need to be able to speak openly with me and reflect.

As a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I am trained and experienced in using Humanistic Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Transactional Analysis (TA) to assist people to live more fully.
