Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I provide counselling and psychotherapy in Shepherds Bush, West London. I work with children (5-11 years), adolescents (12-18 years), and adults. I work on a one to one basis in a safe and confidential space. I can help you to cope with struggles in your life and the stresses of family living. I aim to enable you to learn how you can solve problems to enable you to manage feelings such as frustration, anger, sadness, and anxiety.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

I provide one to one therapy sessions, combining traditional talking therapies such as Humanistic and Psychodynamic approaches, with the use of art and drama and play therapy to work with deeper and long term issues. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to aid recovery from problems like trauma and phobias.

I specialise in working with children (5-11 years). I provide a place where a child can express their feelings through talking, art, creative work and play. When working with children, I work closely with the parents or carers of the child. Together we decide on the priority issues and a suitable time scale. This will be reviewed after six weeks with full feedback.

I also work in a local school as a counsellor. I have four years experience of working with children in primary schools. I hold CRB clearance.
