I am a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Humanistic Psychotherapist and a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I work with people to help them make sense of the thoughts and emotions they experience. My private Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is located in Whatton, Nottingham. I also practise in Sherwood, Nottingham.

I have been a UKCP Registered Psychotherapist since September 2008 and a BACP Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist since September 2013, so I have more than 5 years and 5 months of post-registration experience of working with clients. I also gained experience of working with clients as part of my training. I work with Individuals and Couples. I'm experienced in working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular difficulties they face. My specialist experience is in Personal Development, Relationship Problems and Stress.

As well as being a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in private practice in Whatton, Nottingham, I have experience as a Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), GP Surgery, School and University Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

The aim of my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment. To get the most from Counselling and Psychotherapy you will need to be able to participate.

As a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Humanistic Psychotherapist and British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I am trained and experienced in using Client Centred Therapy, Humanistic Therapy and Person Centred Therapy to work with people to improve their wellbeing.
