I offer fees on a sliding scale depending on your financial situation (no proof required).
Individuals: first session set at £35.00, subsequent appointments between £25.00 and £45.00.
Couples: first session set at £65.00, subsequent appointments between £45.00 and £85.00.
Families: first session set at £65.00, subsequent appointments between £45.00 and £85.00.

Clinical Experience in Counselling, Psychotherapy

I am an experienced and effective Counsellor and Psychotherapist working from a Person Centred foundation. I have worked with people with long term Mental Health issues and people who want to release their creativity and fulfill their potential. I work with loss, relationships, and change.

How I Work

I work from a Person Centred foundation drawing eclectically from other methods as appropriate to your needs. This means that I assume that you are the expert on you and really know somewhere within you what it is that you need. I work holistically, with the whole of you; in a non directive, empathic, and non judgemental way to promote health and happiness free from suffering. I bring myself, my time and undivided attention, and the wealth of my knowledge and experience to listen and to help you find your own way. I work with deep empathy with your feelings, clear logic with your story, and a loving acceptance with the whole of you.

Clinical Training in Counselling, Psychotherapy

Diploma in Person Centred Counselling and Therapy. Certificate in Person Centred Supervision. Specialist training in: Bereavement Counselling and loss of any kind; also rape and sexual abuse, abused childhood, toxic parenting, self esteem, gender, sexuality, and trans gender issues, relationships, co-dependency, couples and family relationships. I also have an interest in spirituality focused counselling, which I approach from a non religious humanistic starting point to assimilate your own meanings and language.

I am willing to consider home visits under certain circumstances or to arrange face to face appointments in your local area within reasonable travelling distance. (There may be an additional charge to cover travel and hire of premises.)
