Welcome. My name is Flavia Cigolla. I am a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist and a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol). I work with people to help them make sense of the thoughts and emotions they experience. My private Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy practice is located in Barbican, London. I also practise in Highgate, London.

I have been a BPS Chartered Counselling Psychologist since September 2011 and a HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist since September 2011, so I have over 1 year and 8 months of post-chartership experience of working with clients. In addition, I gained years of experience of working with clients as part of my training. I work with Individuals and Couples. I'm experienced in working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and dealing with the particular concerns they encounter. My specialist experience is in Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Life Problems and Unresolved Issues.

In addition to being a Counselling Psychologist in private practice in Barbican, London, I have experience as a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Counselling Psychologist.

You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy practice is appropriate for you.

The aim of my Counselling, Psychology and Psychotherapy practice is to concentrate on your concerns so you feel heard, respected and supported and develop your knowledge of causes of concerns so you discover what to change or accept.

As a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist and British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol), I am trained and experienced in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behaviour Therapy, Client Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Couple Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Humanistic Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Person Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Schema Therapy to assist people to live more fully.
