Welcome. My name is Michael Collins. I'm a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Senior Accredited (MBACP Snr Accred) and Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. My private Counselling and Psychotherapy consulting room is situated in Bethnal Green, London. I also practise in Hammersmith, London.

I have been a BACP Senior Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist since July 2007 (Accredited since July 1998 and Registered since January 2013) so I have over 14 years and 10 months of post-accreditation experience of working with clients. I work with Individuals and Couples. I'm experienced in working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular difficulties they encounter. My specialist knowledge is about Abuse, Addictions, Childhood Issues and Family Problems.

As well as being a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in private practice in Bethnal Green, London, I have experience as a Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), NHS Hospital, NHS Primary Care Trust (PCT) and University Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I have experience as a Lecturer on the Foundation Certificate in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Birkbeck College University of London (UK), as a Clinical Assessor at the Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF) Therapy London (UK) and as a Clinical Supervisor to other Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
