Welcome. My name is Nicky Defries. I am a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Analytical Psychotherapist. My private Counselling, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy practice is situated in Acton, London.

A Psychotherapist since February 2001, I have 12 years of experience in Counselling, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. I work with Individuals.

What to Expect during Counselling, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy

After an initial assessment in Acton, London, there is no obligation to continue if you prefer not to. You and I may use the time to explore the life dilemmas for which you are considering Counselling, Psychoanalysis or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to ascertain if my Counselling, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy practice is appropriate for you.

The aim of my Counselling, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment. To get the most from Counselling, Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy you will need to be able to speak openly with me and reflect.

As a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Analytical Psychotherapist, I am trained and experienced in using Analytical Therapy, Contemporary Psychoanalytic Therapy and Psychoanalytic Therapy to assist people to live more fully.
