Clinical Experience in Counselling, Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy

My clients include young people, adults and older adults who may have retired. During the initial session various options are considered regarding the length of therapy. Brief and open ended individual psychotherapy and counselling are possible alternate options depending on the nature of work the client wishes to undertake.

Brief therapy has a fixed time period which can last from 6 - 30 weeks. Open ended therapy by its very nature is not time limited but ends when the client and I feel this is appropriate.

Having trained at the British Association of Psychotherapists (BAP) in London and qualified in 2005, I have previous experience of working for the NHS in a hospital setting, also in a GP practice and in private practice. Prior to training as a psychotherapist I trained and worked as a counsellor.

What to Expect during Counselling, Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy

As a psychotherapist and counsellor my theoretical approach is both psychoanalytic and psychodynamic as well as Jungian.

Clinical Training in Counselling, Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy

I am a Member of the British Association of Psychotherapists (BAP) and a Registrant of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
