I have been a BPS Chartered Counselling Psychologist since August 2006 and a HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist since April 2010, so I have more than 6 years and 9 months of post-chartership experience of working with clients. I work with Individuals. I am highly experienced in providing Counselling and Psychology to people from corporate backgrounds, people from different backgrounds and cultures and the gay community, and assisting with the particular difficulties they encounter. I have academic and clinical research experience in Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Problems and Stress Management.

In addition to being a Counselling Psychologist in private practice in Southfields, London, I have experience as a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT), Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), GP Surgery and NHS Primary Care Trust (PCT) Counselling Psychologist.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychology

After an initial assessment in Southfields, London, there is no obligation to continue if you decide not to. As Client and Therapist, we can use the safe space to explore the current or unresolved past difficulties for which you are considering Counselling or Psychology. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. We can see how well we work together. You and I will then be able to determine if my Counselling and Psychology practice is right for you.

The aim of my Counselling and Psychology practice is to attend to what brings you to therapy in a confidential and focused environment, concentrate on your concerns so you feel heard, respected and supported, develop your insight of your thoughts and how they may increase or decrease your symptoms and develop your knowledge of causes of concerns so you discover what to change or accept.

As a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist (CPsychol) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist, I am highly trained and experienced in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Integrative Cognitive Therapy, Integrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Systemic Therapy to assist people to get through the difficulties they experience.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling and Psychology

  • Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registered Counselling Psychologist since April 2010
  • British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Counselling Psychologist since August 2006
  • BPS Accredited MSc Counselling Psychology - Roehampton University London (UK) 2006

I am committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Counselling and Psychology. I abide by the Code of Ethics and Conduct of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Standards of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
