What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy
After an initial assessment in Hove, there is no requirement to proceed if you decide not to. As Client and Therapist, we may use the safe space to consider the current or unresolved past concerns for which you seek Counselling or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is appropriate for you.The aim of my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is to concentrate on your concerns so you feel heard, respected and supported. To get the most from Counselling and Psychotherapy you will need to be able to speak openly with me and reflect.
As a UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, I am highly trained and experienced in using Contemporary Psychoanalytic Therapy to work with people to address the causes of problems and reduce symptoms.
