Hello. My name is Jo Hunt. I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) Counsellor and Psychotherapist and UK Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (UKRCP) Registered Independent (UKRCP Reg Ind) Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I work with people to help them make sense of the thoughts and emotions they experience. My private Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is based in Meriden, Coventry.

A Counsellor and Psychotherapist since June 2004, I have 7 years of experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work with Individuals, Couples and Families. I am highly experienced in providing Counselling and Psychotherapy to people from different backgrounds and cultures, and assisting with the particular concerns they face. My specialist experience is in Eating Disorders.

In addition to being a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in private practice in Meriden, Coventry, I have experience as a NHS Primary Care Team (PCT) Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

At an initial appointment in Meriden, Coventry, there is no obligation to proceed if you do not wish to. As Client and Therapist, we may take the opportunity to consider the current or unresolved past concerns for which you seek Counselling or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. You can see how you feel working with me. You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is right for you.

The aim of my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is to concentrate on your concerns so you feel heard, respected and supported. To get the most from Counselling and Psychotherapy you will need to be able to be open to change.
