Clinical Experience in Counselling and Psychotherapy

I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist. My private Counselling and Psychotherapy consulting room is situated in Cambridge.

I have been a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist since January 2004 (Registered since January 2004) so I have more than 9 years and 5 months of post-accreditation experience of working with clients. In addition, I gained experience of working with clients as part of my training. I work with Individuals and Couples. I am highly experienced in providing Counselling and Psychotherapy to men and people from different backgrounds and cultures, and helping with the particular concerns they face.

As well as being a Counsellor and Psychotherapist in private practice in Cambridge, I have experience as a Charity, College, Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

What to Expect during Counselling and Psychotherapy

After an initial consultation in Cambridge, there is no obligation to continue if you prefer not to. As Client and Therapist, we can make use of the supportive environment to consider the current concern for which you are considering Counselling or Psychotherapy. I will discuss confidentiality with you and address any questions you may have. We can see how well we work together. You and I will then be able to decide if my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is right for you.

The aim of my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice is to tailor therapy to you and your needs.

As a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Accredited (MBACP Accred) and Registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist, I am trained and experienced in using Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) to work with people to improve their wellbeing.

Clinical Qualifications in Counselling and Psychotherapy

  • Advanced Diploma Counselling and Psychotherapy - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Lutterworth (UK) 2004

I am committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I abide by the Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
