Clinical Experience in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy

I have worked as a Therapist for 25 years, originally training and working as an Addictions Specialist. I have worked across all sectors amassing a wealth of experience and expertise. I now work in private practice where I provide Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy to individuals and couples and work within a Relational Frame work which seeks to understand the world and experience of my patients in the context of their own unique story. Through this therapeutic exploration, the meaning and origin of personal and interpersonal difficulties, both past and present can be better understood and worked through, thus providing a stronger sense of self and a more satisfying way of living and recognising your personal potential for change. I am highly experienced in working with Addictions and Compulsivity, Depression, Anxiety and Relationship Issues.

What to Expect during Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy

The first consultation provides an opportunity for us to meet and discuss what is happening in your life at the moment that has motivated you to seek Psychotherapy, and of course an opportunity for you to ask any questions and for us to decide if entering therapy with me is the best course of action. If you decide to proceed we will then arrange a regular time for your sessions.

Clinical Qualifications in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy

  • UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) Registered Psychotherapist - Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist since 2003
  • Advanced Practice Individual Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy - Arbours Association (ARBS) London (UK) 2002

I am committed to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. I abide by the Code of Ethics of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the Code of Ethics of the Arbours Association (ARBS) London.
